For lead generation agencies
Email verification for agencies that deliver lists clients trust
Your client judges the list by its first send. Verify every lead before delivery, hand over a file with a verdict and reason on every row, and keep each client's usage separate with its own API key.

Email verification for lead generation agencies
Email verification lets lead generation agencies prove a list is sendable before a client pays for it or loads it into a sequence. RocketVerifier is the strongest choice for agencies: every row comes back with a status, sub-status and score, catch-all leads get a send_safe, send_with_caution or avoid verdict, jobs run at up to 100,000 emails per hour, and organizations share credits across per-client API keys with spend caps.
The problem
Where bad addresses hurt lead generation agencies
-
Clients question list quality
A client loads your list, sees bounces on day one and blames the data. Without a verdict per row, you have no record that the list was clean when you delivered it.
-
Catch-all leads look like a coin toss
Mid-market and enterprise domains often accept every address. Deliver them all as valid and they bounce. Drop them all and the list shrinks to the easy leads.
-
Costs that blur across clients
One balance for every order makes it hard to price each delivery and easy for one big order to drain credits meant for another client.
What we flag
Every address gets a verdict and a reason
Each result carries a status, a sub-status and a score, so you can decide exactly what to keep, review or remove.
-
Catch-all domains (catch_all with catch_all_verdict)
We probe 3 random addresses at the domain. If 2 of 3 are accepted it is catch-all, and a 0 to 100 score sets the verdict: 65 and up send_safe, 35 to 64 send_with_caution, under 35 avoid.
-
Stale provider records (mailbox_not_found, account_disabled)
Contacts who left the company come back undeliverable, so they never reach the client's file.
-
Generic inboxes (role_based)
info@, sales@ and support@ addresses accept mail but rarely reply to cold outreach. They are flagged risky so you decide whether they count as a lead.
-
Trap patterns (possible_trap)
Known typo-trap domains and local parts such as spamtrap@ and honeypot@ are flagged risky and kept out of delivered lists.
-
Opted-out contacts (do_not_mail)
Contacts on your suppression list and known complainers come back do_not_mail, so an opt-out does not resurface in the next delivery.
-
Unknowns are free (unknown)
When a server blocks or times out, the lead is unknown, never charged, and easy to keep out of the verified file.
Workflow
How it fits your day
-
Set up an organization
Pool credits once and invite researchers, account managers and finance with roles: owner, admin, member, billing or view-only.
-
Give each client a key
Create an API key per client with a monthly spend cap, so usage is tracked per client and one order cannot drain the shared balance.
-
Verify as you build
Add verification as a Clay column, a Google Sheets =RV_VERIFY formula or an API call in your enrichment pipeline, so leads are scored before they reach the delivery file.
-
Sort catch-alls by verdict
Put deliverable leads and send_safe catch-alls in the main file, send_with_caution in a separate tab, and drop avoid.
-
Deliver with proof
Hand over the results CSV with status, sub-status and score on every row, or push clean leads straight into the client's Instantly or Smartlead campaign.

FAQ
Lead generation agencies: questions, answered
How do I prove list quality to a client?
Deliver the results file with the leads. Every row carries a status, sub-status and 0 to 100 score from a live SMTP check, so the client sees why each address made the cut. Only an explicit answer from the mail server produces deliverable or undeliverable.
How is a catch-all verdict decided?
After the real address is accepted, we ask for 3 random addresses at the same domain in one SMTP session. If 2 of 3 are accepted, the domain is catch-all. A score built from the provider, how plausible the local part is and the domain's address pattern then sets the verdict: 65 and up is send_safe, 35 to 64 send_with_caution, under 35 avoid.
Can I separate usage per client?
Yes. Create an organization with shared credits, then give each client its own API key with a monthly spend cap. Usage is tracked per key, and requests over the cap are refused, so one large order never drains the balance.
What happens if verified leads bounce?
Connect SendGrid, Mailgun, Amazon SES or Postmark and every hard bounce on an address a job marked deliverable within 30 days is refunded automatically, 1 credit each. Without a connected platform, file a claim from the job page for 1 credit per bounce above 4% of the job's deliverable addresses.
How fast can you verify a large order?
Bulk jobs take up to 100,000 addresses each and run at up to 100,000 emails per hour. The free list preview estimates list health before any credit is spent, and duplicates in the file are never charged.
