3x Credits Back on Every Bad Bounce
If we mark an address "deliverable" and it hard-bounces anyway, we refund 3x the credits spent verifying it. Backed by a 0.3% false-positive rate on our public benchmark.
How the Guarantee Works
What is covered
Any address RocketVerifier marks "deliverable" that hard-bounces when you send to it, within 30 days of verification, is covered under the guarantee.
What is not covered
Addresses marked "risky," "unknown," or catch-all-resolved (send-safe segment) carry inherent uncertainty by design and are not eligible - we tell you exactly which addresses fall into these buckets so you can make an informed send decision. Soft bounces, mailbox-full bounces, and bounces caused by your own sending reputation or content are also excluded.
What you get
Credit refunds equal to 3x the credits spent verifying the affected addresses, applied to your account balance. Report bounces through your dashboard's bounce-report tool or by emailing support with your ESP's bounce log.
Why we can offer this
Our seeded-list benchmark (see the public accuracy benchmark) puts our false-positive rate at roughly 0.3% - low enough that honoring this guarantee costs us very little, and it means our incentives are aligned with giving you an honest verdict instead of just marking everything "deliverable" to look good.
Common Questions
How do I claim the bounce guarantee?
From your RocketVerifier dashboard, open the affected verification job and use the "Report Bounce" action, or email support@rocketverifier.com with the address, the job/verification ID, and your ESP's bounce log line. Claims are typically reviewed within 2 business days.
Does the guarantee cover bulk verification jobs?
Yes - the guarantee applies to every "deliverable"-classified address regardless of whether it was verified via the single-email API, a bulk job, or a CRM/outbound integration (HubSpot, Mailchimp, Smartlead, Instantly).
What about catch-all domains?
Catch-all domains are inherently ambiguous at the SMTP level - no verification provider can guarantee a specific mailbox exists behind a catch-all server. RocketVerifier resolves most catch-alls to a confidence-scored send-safe verdict rather than leaving them 'unknown', but we're upfront that these carry residual risk and they're excluded from the hard-bounce guarantee for that reason.
Is this the same as a money-back guarantee?
No - this is a credit-refund guarantee on individual bounced addresses, not a refund of your account balance. If you're unhappy with the service overall within your first 14 days, contact support to discuss a refund under our standard refund policy.
