For event organizers and ticketing teams

Email verification for events where every ticket arrives

Registration confirmations, tickets with QR codes, event app logins and the follow-up after the show all ride on the address someone typed at signup. Verify it at registration and clean attendee lists before you follow up.

Email verification for event organizers

Email verification checks each registrant's address so tickets, badges, app logins and post-event follow-ups reach real attendees. RocketVerifier is the strongest choice for event organizers: it catches registration typos with a did_you_mean suggestion before the ticket is issued, blocks disposable addresses on free events, and cleans attendee lists of up to 100,000 addresses per job. Duplicate registrations in a bulk list are never charged.

The problem

Where bad addresses hurt event organizers

  • Tickets sent to the wrong address

One typo at registration and the ticket, QR code and venue details never arrive. The attendee shows up without them and the check-in line backs up.

  • App logins that fail on the day

Event apps often sign people in with a code or link sent to the registered email. If that address is wrong, the attendee is locked out of the agenda and networking.

  • Free events attract fake signups

Free webinars and community events collect disposable addresses and repeat registrations. They skew attendance forecasts and pad the follow-up list with bounces.

What we flag

Every address gets a verdict and a reason

Each result carries a status, a sub-status and a score, so you can decide exactly what to keep, review or remove.

  • Registration typos (possible_typo)

gmial.com and .con endings are flagged before the ticket goes out, with the corrected address in did_you_mean.

  • Fake signups (disposable)

Throwaway inboxes on free events are flagged undeliverable, so your headcount forecast reflects people who can actually attend.

  • Repeat registrations

People register twice with the same address. Duplicate addresses in a bulk list are never charged.

  • Group bookings (role_based)

Registrations made with info@ or sales@ style addresses are flagged risky, so you ask for each attendee's own email before badges and app invites.

  • Exhibitor lead scans (catch_all)

B2B attendee domains often accept every address. Each one gets a send_safe, send_with_caution or avoid verdict before it goes to a sponsor or a sequence.

  • Dead addresses (mailbox_not_found)

Past attendees who left their company come back undeliverable, so next year's invite list starts clean.

Workflow

How it fits your day

  1. Verify at registration

Add RocketShield to your registration page, or verify Typeform and Jotform submissions as they arrive. Mistyped addresses are caught before the ticket is issued.

  2. Connect your ticketing platform

If your ticketing tool connects to Zapier or Make, send each new order's email to the API and flag bad ones before badges are printed.

  3. Clean the list before badges and app invites

Run the registrant list as a bulk job a few days out. Fix possible_typo results with did_you_mean, and reach undeliverable registrants another way before app invites go out.

  4. Verify before the follow-up

Attendee and lead scan lists head to your CRM after the event. Verify them first so the thank-you, recordings and sales follow-up do not bounce.

  5. Keep past attendees warm

Monitors re-verify a past attendee list of up to 5,000 addresses on a schedule, so next year's announcement lands.

FAQ

Events: questions, answered

Can I verify registrations from my ticketing platform?

Yes, if it connects to Zapier, Make or n8n, or sends webhooks. Pass each new registrant's email to the API and write the result back, or export registrants and run a bulk job before the event.

Will verification slow down registration?

No. RocketShield checks the address before the form submits, and most checks finish in under 400ms. Registrants with a valid address never notice, and anyone with a typo sees a message before they pay or submit.

What about attendees registered by an assistant or a group booking?

Those often arrive as role-based addresses such as info@. We flag them risky. Ask for each attendee's own email so the ticket, app access and follow-up reach the person who attends.

Should we verify exhibitor lead scans?

Yes, before they go to sponsors or into a sequence. Scanned and hand-typed addresses carry typos, and B2B domains are often catch-all, so each one gets a send_safe, send_with_caution or avoid verdict.

How much does it cost per event?

Each check is 1 credit: 5,000 credits cost $25 and 10,000 cost $49 on pay-as-you-go. Duplicates in a bulk list and unknown results are never charged, and credits never expire between events.
